September is Library Card Sign-Up Month. The Rutherford Public Library will be at the Multi-Cultural Festival at Lincoln Park on Friday, September 8, and Rutherford Day at Memorial Park on Saturday, September 23, to help the community sign up for their library card!
The All Together Now Summer Reading Challenge ends on Saturday, September 23. Collect your prizes soon!
We are kicking off the school year with great programs for students and adults. Presentations on The British Invasion, the environmental history of the Meadowlands, and Andrew Carnegie, library philanthropist, are among the highlights. We have several music and movement classes for toddlers and a great magic show for the older children. Also, The Friends of the Library will be holding their Fall Used Book Sale at the end of the month!
We have consolidated our program listings. For more information about an event or to register, please visit the links provided.
