As Bowdoin College opens its 2024–2025 academic year, we offer a hearty welcome to the Class of 2028! With the arrival of the fall season, we are delighted to share an exciting array of exhibitions, including the work of Abigail DeVille, the photographs of Ogawa Kazumasa, and important installations growing out of the Museum’s rich collection of historic and contemporary art. We are excited to share with our audiences several public presentations by artists and scholars related to these current shows. Also, this issue of the e-Bulletin provides a behind-the-scenes view of recent acquisitions supported by the research and expertise of students and alumni, as well as a profile of Emily Jacobs, the Museum’s new Postbaccalaureate Curatorial Assistant and Manager of Student Programs.

We look forward to seeing you at the Museum!
