The UN Food Systems Summit (UN-FSS) event scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 23rd has been in the works for over a year, and presents itself (falsely) as ‘the peoples food summit’. It’s anything but. Read on to see how you can support our allies and oppose this corporate takeover at the UN. By the Women, Money & Democracy Committee and the Earth Democracy Committee.

An update regarding the continuation of building WILPF US Branches, the Triad Branch and starting a Piedmont and a Rock Hill/Fort Mill, South Carolina Branch. By: G. Friday. 

WILPF branches continued the sad tradition of commemorating the 1945 A-bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki around the 6th and 9th of August this year, as a way of reminding ourselves why we work so hard to abolish nuclear weapons. Branches commemorate the 76th anniversaries with virtual and in-person events. Read more to learn what branches all over the USA did.

What's Up Within International WILPF?              
International WILPF’s Triennial Congress has been delayed until 2022 and planning is in progress. The Future WILPF Global call was September 7, 2021, learn more about additional global calls in the near future. By: J. Slagter.
