PREPARING FOR SUNDAY
So therefore, none of you can become my disciple if you do not give up all your possessions.
Luke 14:33
Reflection:
"It takes preparation to come to discipleship, and discipleship to come to discernment. We must prepare for our discipleship by eliminating the distractions, or at least the seductions, of material comfort and wealth in order to form ourselves to the Lord."
Ed Morrissey
To Pray:
God of power and justice, like Jeremiah you weep over those who wander from you, turn aside to other gods, and enter into chaos and destruction. By your tears and through your mercy, teach us your ways and write them on our hearts so that we may follow faithfully the path you show us. Amen.

Many thanks to Chris for her years of service and we look forward to the insight and contributions from Sandy and Cloudy.
