September is Childhood
Cancer Awareness Month!
Throughout the month, we will be sharing facts & statistics of childhood and young adult cancers on our social media pages!

Did you know, according to SEER (Surveillance, Epidemiology & End Results Program as part of the National Cancer Institute), childhood leukemia represents 25.1% of all new cancer cases by children ages 0-19.
Thankfully, the death rate has slowly been dropping over the years, but the number of new cases are slowly increasing.
If you know a child who has or had cancer, please tell their family about Lending Hearts so we may be able to offer support. Covid hasn't stopped cancer, and we haven't stopped our services. Families need support now more than ever, and we are here for them.
