We’re back with a month full of exciting programs. September is a month to celebrate! Library Card Sign-Up Month, Friends of the Library Media Sale, and not to mention Fairmont Library’s anniversary. Plus, we've increased the total number of items you can check out on your Pasadena Library card from 25 to 30, in honor of Fairmont's 30th anniversary!

Fairmont Library's 30th Fiestaversary | Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 11AM to 1PM


You've joined us in celebrating Pasadena Public Library's 100th Birthday Bash and the Central Library's 60th birthday in April. The celebration continues in September with the Fairmont Branch Library turning 30 years old!


Help us celebrate Fairmont Library's Fiestaversary and Hispanic Heritage Month on Saturday, September 17 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM indoors at the Fairmont Library - 4330 Fairmont Pkwy. Let's fiesta with a performance by Calmecac Indigenous Organization, crafts, giveaways, refreshments, and more!


The Fairmont Branch Library opened on Monday, September 14, 1992 with Cynthia Saucier as Fairmont Branch Manager. The library's collection began with 16,000 books and currently houses 42,405 items! Items available for free checkout with your library card.

There are many types of business plans, such as development, financing or marketing plans. The type of plan you develop depends on your business’ needs and priorities. Join us to learn about business plans and to get hand-on experience cooperating with others to write a simple business plan. During this interactive workshop you will:

It has been some time since they library's last big sale! If you listen to audiobooks or watch DVDs, don't miss your chance to come in and pick up gently used audiobooks and DVDs. Also available: magazines and books!


Purchases help the Friends of the Pasadena Public Library sponsor library programs and projects.
