Thursday, October 5th
4;00 PM - 8:00 pm
Join the A.D. Makepeace Company and Ocean Spray Cranberries at Tihonet Village in the cranberry bogs at the second annual Bog to Table Dinner on Thursday, October 5, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This unique event offers gourmet foods, specialty drinks, and a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to enjoy cocktails with friends and family in a magically illuminated cranberry bog full of floating berries.
The night begins with a cocktail hour at high top tables in the bog. Guests can enjoy local wine, beer, and spirits, or signature cranberry drinks, all while wearing stylish waders and getting their photos taken by a professional photographer.
After cocktails, guests will step out of the bog and under a large tent to enjoy dinner at sunset. The talented chefs at Off the Vine Catering have created a wonderful menu incorporating cranberries in every dish.
Start the meal off with a delicious panettone panzanella salad with dried cranberries and a cider vinaigrette. Next, dive into some pumpkin ravioli with candied cranberries and caramelized squash. Now for the entrée, a mouthwatering cranberry and port braised short rib dish served with butternut tart and sage roasted Yukon potatoes. If you have any room left after that, enjoy cranberry panna cotta fig compote for dessert.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy live music from the Hiller Gobush band, a four piece local band that will feature a selection of jazz, blues, country, and other crowd favorites.
The Bog to Table Dinner has been designed for attendees 21 years and older, and will be held rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to dress casually to allow waders to be worn. Shuttles will be provided from the parking area to the bog.
Ticket availability is limited, and individual tickets will not be for sale at the door. Prior registration and purchase is required. Don’t miss out on this one of kind New England experience!

The event is hosted by the A.D. Makepeace Company, the world’s largest cranberry grower

SEED Corporation is a nonprofit organization providing financing to start-up and existing businesses throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and administers three main loan programs: Micro Loans, Small Loans, and SBA 504 Loans.

Under the Micro Loan and Small Loan programs, SEED can provide loans from $1,000 up to $250,000. The program provides low fixed rates at 5-6%, terms from 6-10 years, flexible use of funds, and no prepayment penalty—an excellent option for businesses who do not yet qualify for bank financing. SEED can also provide gap financing behind a bank or credit union.

Under the SBA 504 Program, SEED works in conjunction with a bank or credit union to provide up to 90% financing for owner-occupied commercial real estate, as well as machinery and equipment. SEED can finance up to $5.5 million under this program, typically representing 40% of the total lending project. SBA 504 rates can be fixed for 20 or 25 year terms.

As an extension of its lending programs, SEED provides technical assistance to start-up businesses and those in the first phase of development. Throughout the year, SEED offers free workshops designed to help small businesses start-up and grow.
