Heart Walk and Talk

Join this free monthly outdoor walking group from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 4. All are welcome! Learn from our heart-health experts while you get fresh air and walk along the scenic paths at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. It's held the first Thursday of every month on the path by the arches near the emergency room. Free parking is available in designated OHVI parking. Please do not use ER parking.

Join PeaceHealth registered dietitian Cecelia Jacobson for a free shopping tour at Market of Choice from 2 to 3 p.m. the third Tuesday of the month. Walk for Reconciliation

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation raises awareness of the impacts of residential and boarding schools on Indigenous communities. Join us for a group walk, blessing and speakers to commemorate this special day. Meet at the fountain on the RiverBend campus at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 30.


HEARTsafe Eugene Springfield

Have you had sudden cardiac arrest? You're invited to join the HEARTsafe Sudden Cardiac Arrest Survivor and Co-Survivor Support Group. It meets from 4 to 5 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the PeaceHealth RiverBend campus in room 200CD. The next meeting is Sept. 23.

Your Voice, Your Choice

Your completed advance directive lets healthcare providers and others know the kind of care you’d want if you’re unable to speak for yourself. This one-hour session will help you put your wishes in writing. The class is at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18 at PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center. Learn more and register.
