Welcome new 2024/2025 Interns!


We are thrilled to welcome the arrival of our new batch of interns who will embark on a nine-month tenure with us at Zephyr Point, diving deep into the world of Camp and Conference life!


We can’t wait to see each intern flourish both professionally and spiritually during their time here. They’ll have the chance to build lasting relationships within their intentional living community and create unforgettable experiences that will stay with them forever.


Welcome to the team interns! We’re excited to have you on board as Zephyr Point continues its mission to offer a space where individuals can connect with the divine through education, exploration, and inspiration.


Meet the dynamic individuals joining our team. From left to right are:



  • Ilse Fredrickson – Program

Ilse is from Minnetonka, Minnesota. She went to Drake University where she double-majored in international relations and history. Ilse’s favorite part of working for Zephyr Point is all of the beautiful surrounding nature! In her free time, Ilse enjoys downhill skiing and playing pickleball. 


  • Josué Herrera – Business Operations & Development

Josué is from Lodi, California. He went to The University of California, Merced where he majored in political science. Josué’s favorite part of working for Zephyr Point are all of the beautiful mountain ranges in view! In his free time, Josué enjoys going for runs and rock climbing. 


  • Ethan Cedarfield – Program

Ethan is from Agawam, Massachusetts. He spent time at The University of Connecticut where he majored in Biological Chemistry. Ethan’s favorite part of working for Zephyr Point are the on-site staff pets! In his free time, Ethan enjoys fishing and playing board games with his friends.


  • Duke Etherton – Marketing & Communications

Duke is from Dana Point, California. He goes to The University of Southern California where he is a Communications major. Duke’s favorite part of working for Zephyr Point is the easy access to the lake! In his free time, Duke enjoys fashion and playing the guitar. 


  • Audra Nelson – Guest Services

Audra is from Matthews, North Carolina. She went to the University of North Carolina where she double-majored in psychology and political science. Audra’s favorite part of working for Zephyr Point is meeting guests while giving golf cart rides! In her free time, Audra enjoys playing volleyball and reading a new book.

The Golden Ticket drawing is back!


Support Zephyr Point in it's mission to provide a place for all to experience God through education, exploration, and inspiration. By donating a minimum of $100, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a FREE week-long stay in our lakefront Cabin 8 during the prime month of June.

The Zephyr Point Centennial Celebration, held September 20-22, was a truly unforgettable weekend.


Years of preparation and planning by our dedicated Board and Staff culminated in a heartwarming event filled with joy, reflection, and community.

Three Transformative Adult Programs Coming to Zephyr Point – Register Today!

As the fall season unfolds, Zephyr Point invites you to rejuvenate your spirit and engage in meaningful conversations through three upcoming adult programs, each uniquely designed to inspire and connect. And good news—registration is still open for all three, so it’s not too late to join!


Pastors Renewal Retreat (October 7-9): Take a well-deserved break to renew your mind, body, and spirit. This retreat is a sanctuary for pastors and clergy seeking rest, reflection, and rejuvenation amidst the tranquil beauty of Lake Tahoe.


Fall Sprucing up in the Pines (October 11-13): Embrace the season by lending a hand to care for the beautiful grounds of Zephyr Point. This event is a perfect blend of service, fellowship, and enjoying the crisp autumn air.


Ethnic Concerns Consultation (October 18-20): Engage in vital conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion within our communities. This consultation provides a platform for thoughtful dialogue and shared learning, with the goal of fostering a more inclusive future.
