The Oldies but Goodies Fest 2024 is almost here- with the Smokin Oldies BBQ cookoff on September 7th and the festival on September 15th. Join us for a fun-filled time with BBQ, crafters, and more! The festival includes live music, with performances by Swampland Revival and Justin Cornett Band!

Mark your calendars for SugarFest, a special celebration of the sugarcane harvest, on October 6th! SugarFest was voted one of the Top 20 events in the Southeast. It includes living history demonstrations, food and mule-driven grinding, music, a cake walk and other activities related to Sugar Plantation Life as it was years ago!

Family Color Run!

Join us at the West Baton Rouge Main Branch Library in Port Allen for a fun, free, family color run on Saturday, September 7th! Wear your white attire and prepare yourself for a fun-filled color flying day! Check-in is at 8:30am. Enjoy the after-party with snowballs, airbrush, and selfies!

Historical Happy Hour!

Join the West Baton Rouge Museum on Friday, September 20th from 6-8pm for Historical Happy Hour. This month’s Happy Hour will feature the Florida Street Blowhards. This FREE event is open to the public. This performance will take place outdoors at the Juke Joint stage on the grounds of the West Baton Rouge Museum near 6th Street.
