Hungrytown Concert
Thursday, Sept. 17th
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Periodical Room
Get ready, Conway! Hungrytown is coming to town! Mark your calendars for an unforgettable evening on Thursday, September 17th, at 6:00 PM in the cozy Periodical Room. Experience the magic of Hungrytown, the talented duo of Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson.
Their music beautifully blends various genres, thanks to years of extensive touring. Hall's lyrics evoke timeless emotions, while Anderson brings their sound to life with captivating instrumental arrangements. Their journey began in the vibrant city of New York, where Hall was immersed in jazz, and Anderson was on the drums. A friend's introduction to the rich sounds of 1960s folk music sparked a new passion in the pair, setting them on a path toward soulful folk melodies.
After releasing two poignant solo albums, they made a bold move to Vermont in 2003 to pursue their dream of touring full-time. Now, they spend half the year sharing their enchanting music across North America, Europe, and New Zealand. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience Hungrytown live — it promises to be a night full of heart and harmony!
