Carissa Norsten

Congratulations to Waldheim's Carissa Norsten for pursuing her dreams and transitioning to Queen Margaret's School in Duncan, BC on Vancouver Island for her Grade 12 year! Carissa is one of the fittest, fastest, coachable multi-sport athletes in Canada. At 16 years she has only been playing rugby for just over one year. After leading Saskatchewan Rugby u18 Women in Overall points and tries at the 2019 Western Canadian Games she earned an invite to the Canada U18 Fifteens Camps in Calgary & Edmonton last winter. She was then invite to train with the Rugby Canada Development Academy in the week build up to the Vancouver 7s Tournament in March, in which she helped the Junior Canadian Women to a Silver Medal Finish scoring 4 times.
Christina Norsten
Congratulations to Waldheim's Christina Norsten for pursuing her dreams and transitioning to the Top D1 Lindenwood University Athletics Rugby Program in St. Charles, Missouri. After graduating in 2019 Christina enjoyed a big year with the U of L Pronghorns Rugby Program in Lethbridge, Alberta playing under former Canadian Women's Head Coach Neil Langevin. With Covid 19 shutting down play in Canada she was recruited to play for the Top Program in the USA!
Congratulations Christina on your scholarship and continued academic and rugby success.
Congratulations to these sisters! Good luck to you both in your academic and rugby career!
