September 2020 Newsletter
Dear valued member,

I'm not sure how it happened, but October is almost here. Together with cold weather and Halloween celebrations, October also brings National Cooperative Month. Though perhaps not as fun as carving pumpkins, it does provide us with an opportunity to pause and celebrate the benefits of being powered by one of America’s 900+ rural electric cooperatives.

Instead of being powered by a for-profit corporation, we get our electricity from LPEA, a non-profit cooperative founded in 1939 by our local community for one single purpose – to bring power and light to all corners of the area, improving lives and powering a strong economy.

To celebrate, we have some fun activities planned for October. The first is a series of Virtual Town Hall Meetings on our future power supply options, and the second is a 5-question quiz testing how much YOU know about LPEA. Join your town hall meeting and/or take the online quiz for your chance to win $50.00!
