National Suicide Prevention Month
In recognition of this past month of September being Suicide Awareness Month we wanted to share some resources with you that we think may be helpful to look through and have handy.

Signs Matters: Online Suicide Prevention Training for K-12 Educators meets the NJ mandate for educators instruction.

Signs Matter, Early Detection. Educators can play a critical role in the fight against suicide. They don’t have to be mental health experts, but it is important that they understand and recognize the signs that a student is at risk for suicide.

#BeThe1To is the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline’s message for National Suicide Prevention Month and beyond, which helps spread the word about actions we can all take to prevent suicide. The Lifeline network and its partners are working to change the conversation from suicide to suicide prevention, to actions that can promote healing, help and give hope. https://www.bethe1to.com/resources/
