Land Purchase South of Lake O
|
Florida State Senator Joe Negron recently announced a plan to buy land and build a water storage reservoir south of Lake Okeechobee. This plan of action can will help kick-start the long-awaited Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP). Please call your state legislator and ask that they support Senator Negron's plan.
Urge your "candidate" to support Everglades Restoration - it's #NoworNeverglades
To date, more than 27,000 people and hundreds of organizations have signed the #NoworNeverglades petition.
When evaluating candidates running for State and Federal seats in November, ask them:
1. Where do you stand on purchasing land South of Lake Okeechobee?
2. Have you signed the Now or Neverglades petition?
