McIntyre Powder: OHCOW Research

Congratulations to Dr. Andrew Zarnke and co-writers on the recent publication of the paper, entitled "Incidence of cardiovascular disease in a cohort of mine workers exposed to ultrafine aluminum powder in Ontario, Canada" by the American Journal of Industrial Medicine

This paper has been covered by the CBC both on its website and its radio show Morning North, on which Dr. Zarnke was interviewed, and promises to be an important step forward both for justice for the McIntyre Powder-exposed miners.

Compensation Available for Miners Exposed to McIntyre Powder


If you or a family member worked in the gold or uranium mines in Ontario between 1940 and 1979, you may be eligible for compensation. Funds are available for those who acquired Parkinson’s Disease as a result of their workplace exposure.
