Update: SW 85th St Work

Dear Residents,

We want to provide you with an update on the ongoing Septic to Sewer Project along SW 85th Street:

• 62nd Ave Road Restoration (Pictured below): Crews are making progress with testing scheduled for today. Sub-grade and base work are required before applying asphalt millings as a temporary surface. The road will be re-opened to traffic by the end of the day.

• 85th St & 60th Ave (Pictured below): The contractor is repairing a damaged drainage crossing using concrete pipe. As a result, the road will be closed today, March 13, 2025. Please plan accordingly and use alternate routes.

Please advise any delivery personnel or service providers of the following:

🚧 Construction is ongoing in the area, which may temporarily impede road access from one direction. However, access to homes is always maintained.

➡️ If a delivery driver or service provider is unable to reach your home from one direction, they should attempt to access from the other side of the street.

While some access points may be limited or briefly blocked, these restrictions are momentary. The contractor is aware of the need for continuous access, and we have communicated this with delivery personnel on-site.

If you or any service provider encounters ongoing difficulties, the City is happy to assist in coordinating access. Please reach out, and we will work with the contractor to resolve any issues.
