Update: Overall Project Information

Dear Residents,


Please find the latest update on the progress of the Septic to Sewer Conversion Project in your neighborhood below.


SW 85th Street


  • Pending completion on the framed concrete collars around the water meter boxes, is expected on Tuesday. Please expect the presence of concrete trucks.
  • The contractor has been reminded to water the Sod on the rights ways regularly and we will are monitoring this requirements.
  • As a reminder, final road resurfacing (Final Lift) by the City will take place at the end of the project.


SW 60th Avenue


  • Final restoration (Sod, Driveways, and Right of ways) is ongoing and will continue until the project is fully completed up to SW 87th Street.
  • Pending completion on the framed concrete collars around the water meter boxes, is expected on Tuesday. Please anticipate concrete trucks.
  • The contractor has been reminded to water the Sod on the rights ways regularly and we will are monitoring this requirements.


SW 87th Street


  • FINAL NOTICE: Our team and contractors are actively working with homeowners to finalize remaining lateral connections along SW 87th Street, if you have not done so yet please advise our team of relocation of lateral connection.
  • Work continues eastward toward Dante Fascell Park. This phase includes excavating and sealing laterals connections, just past SW 59th and SW 58th Avenues.
  • The contractor has advised that restoration of sod, roads, and right-of-ways is scheduled to take place between SW 60th and SW 59th Avenues next week.
  • Density testing will also be continue next week to prepare for the final pipe installation.


Easement/Pump Station


  • The contractor has installed fencing to close a gap currently existing in the easement area.
  • Preparations for the pump station, including work on the water main, are expected to begin within the next two weeks. Prior notice will be sent when work is to begin.
  • As a reminder, the Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department will send out advance notifications regarding any temporary water service interruptions when scheduled.
