Dear Residents,
We are writing to provide an update on the ongoing septic-to-sewer construction project in your area. Our contractor is currently working on SW 85th Street, which includes the sewer lateral connections to your properties.
If you notice a stake in your yard (as shown in the photo above) please make sure the wooden stake placed on your property lines up on the same side that your current sanitary system (Septic Tank/Drain Field) is in place. Please note you have 24 hrs. from the day the stake was placed in your property to notify the Public Works Engineering Team, if you feel the location for the connection is not relatively close to your septic tank. If nothing is reported please note that the service line will be installed as marked and there is no possibility of making any changes once the contractor makes the installation. Therefore, if we do not hear from you, we will assume this location is acceptable. Please see below the contact information for Mr. Gomez with the Public Works Engineering Team.

We are aware that construction may temporarily extend onto the swale, and we want to assure you that any affected grass areas will be resodded to their original condition as part of the project. Should you have any specific concerns, our team is always available.
