Sequoia PTSA's weekly eNewsletter in partnership with the Sequoia High School Education Foundation

I'm not sure about everyone else but for me it felt like mid-January to now, came in like a wrecking ball! So many commitments and obligations came rushing in all at once. It felt nice to have more and more of life return to normal yet it was also overwhelming. So I hope everyone is enjoying the coming week, and getting a chance to reset just a little bit, because March isn't looking much calmer!
On March 1, we will be hosting our first IN-PERSON PTSA MEETING since February 2020 – let that sink in – two years ago! This is the first opportunity for freshman and sophomore parents to actually come together on campus and hear Principal Priest speak in person. Stay tuned for time and location (MPR or Carrington Hall), but put it on your calendar, we would love to see you there! Redwood City Traffic Engineers will present to us their findings of a traffic study at Brewster and Elwood and their resolution.
It is truly mind-boggling that our world changed so drastically two years ago. I know when this all first came about, I thought, ok, six weeks, we can do this, flatten the curve, etc. Ha!
It has been a lot and there has been so much loss – yet there have also been bright lights; now, the lights seem the brightest.
Enjoy the break!

Sequoia is a closed campus
|
|
This is a reminder that Sequoia is a closed campus. Staff have noticed a lot of kids leaving campus for lunch and during free periods. When we return from mid-winter break, Sequoia will be enforcing the closed campus rule. If your student needs to leave campus for any reason, you need to check them out from the attendance office.
