Sequoia PTSA's weekly newsletter in partnership with SHSEF

MAIN MESSAGE

A huge thank you to Mr. Priest and the parents who joined us for the Principal’s Coffee this past Tuesday. We shared a very heartfelt, thoughtful conversation about the joys and struggles of school and parenthood. It was a great way to start the day! We are planning for another coffee in February 2025.

All are welcome to join us at our next PTSA Meeting this Tuesday, November 5th (voting day!). We will meet at 7:00 p.m. in the MPR.

Please join us at our Youth Town Hall and come share your voice. What can create more safety, fun, and opportunity for youth in Redwood City? International student exchange

The nonprofit San Carlos Sister City Association offers a July homestay exchange with a Japanese family in Omura (大村市), where one or more people speak English. Students are not required to speak Japanese.

Home-hosted exchange is a cultural awakening that opens the mind, transforms perceptions, and develops new thinking. Click here for an application and more information. For questions, email Ryan Tomita or call John Hoffmann at 650-585-3933.

Since 1998, our Costa Rica Youth Exchange has brought teens together in a shared experience of friendship and community. Shift your Spanish into high gear and experience the adventure of rural Costa Rica. Contact ilba@youthcr.org for questions.
