2019 at Serendipity Quilt Shop
First of all we want to thank each of you for your continued support. We appreciate you so much. With your loyalty we are celebrating SQS’s 11th anniversary this year! Time flies when you are having fun and speaking of fun - we have many fun things in store for 2019!
At the end of 2018 we had already started ramping up classes and we will continue to introduce new and informative classes in 2019. If you don’t see what you want, let us know. We will try to accommodate!
By request, we recently added a workshop - “Sit & Sew Day” scheduled for February 5th.   Other workshops are in the planning stages so stay tuned and watch the class schedule on the website for more information.
One other thing new in 2019 will be the Serendipity Saturday Social previously known as Breakfast Club. As many of you know, Breakfast Club has grown exponentially and as such, we feel changes are needed to ensure each of you are comfortable and that you get the most out of the the experience. We are going to try a different approach and see how it goes. Beginning in February, specifically 2/2/2019. The Serendipity Saturday Social replaces the Breakfast Club. Change is not always easy for everyone, but we hope this works for most. We will see how it goes and are open to still more change, if needed. Speak up!

The Serendipity Saturday Social will be held the first Saturday of each month, in two separate sessions. The agenda and content of the sessions are identical.

Reds & Lights Quilt Challenge
This year, we invite you to participate in our 2nd Annual Serendipity Quilt Shop Challenge as we celebrate our 11th Anniversary . Red happens to be Kathy’s favorite color so let’s shower her with Red Quilting love! The challenge is to pick a pattern and then use only Reds and Lights in fabrics of your choice to complete your project.

We plan to display and take a group photo before the 11th Anniversary celebration in June.
Below are the guidelines for this year’s challenge.
  1. Red and Light Fabric – Red must read as red fabric from a distance. No pink fabric. Light can be white, beige or cream.
  2. Project can be any quilt size, table runner, wall hanging, bag, etc. in any pattern you choose.
  3. Projects are due to be completed by 6/1/19 and should be a project that you start and finish in 2019, if possible.
  4. Have Fun!

Feel free to stop in or call the shop (302-732-6304)
if you have questions .
