This Week's Sunday School Lesson
Story Title: Shine
Scripture Reference: Matthew 5:13-20
Purpose Statement: We listen to Jesus’ affirmation that we are salt and light; and we consider what it means to “practice righteousness” as we live out the heart of our faith.
The Sermon Series Continues Sunday, February 9
Last Sunday we began with the Beatitudes. This Sunday we "Go Deeper" into one of the Beatitudes: " Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth."
This series is done in conjunction with the Adult Christian Education Committee.
Words for Thought
“It is a combination of open-mindedness, faith in God, and the realization that the will of God for us is always something joyous and interesting and vital and much better than anything we could think of for ourselves,"
Emmet Fox
