Hello church family,

I am so thankful that we were able to praise and worship God in-person and virtually.

Sunday morning we looked at 1 Corinthians 13:1-7 as we reflect on what it means to love and to be love. As Christians we are called to love God and love others but how exactly do we do that? In this passage, Paul walks us through attributes of love and gives us wonderful words that we can reflect on so that our hearts, minds, and souls are transformed and we can always live into the love God calls us to.

We are looking at possibly changing the date and time of our Friday at 5pm Zoom Bible Study. Please let me know days and times that would work for you if you would like to join us for a Bible study.

UMW will meet Saturday February 20 at 9:30am.

If you are able to help the church go through stuff for the rummage sale and prepare for it, we will be meeting Monday February 22 at 10am. The Rummage Sale will be the 26th and 27th.

Have a blessed day,
Pastor Jeff Taylor

1 Corinthians 13:1-7

13 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poorand give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
