A Message From Our President

St. Junipero Serra Catholic School Launches New Website -Monday, October 3, 2016
We are so excited to announce that we are ready to launch the long-awaited, new St. Junipero Serra Catholic School website. The site is designed to show the multitude of blessings and success of our school through multi-media and also to help parents easily navigate all that you need to stay connected and help your children succeed at SJSC. A big thank you to Mrs. Cindy Kennedy, Communications Director, for her leadership and the countless hours of dedication to prepare this website for its launch. Look to our SerraDIPITY over the next two weeks for more exciting information.

SJSC PTO Joins Mrs. Trudell On Visit To Our Four Parishes
This past Monday, our SJSC bus left the Applied Medical Parking lot with 20 of your PTO team leaders and myself, as the tour guide, to visit all four parishes. On our visits we toured each parish campus, visited with our pastors and their parish staff and presented each of them with a picture of our school for their offices, and a tray of delicious sweets.

At each parish we prayed together for various intentions: for you, our parents, our students, our diocese and for the intentions of our pastors. A big thank you to Cristen Lebsack, PTO President, and Debbie Dubeau, Vice President SJSC for Parent Relations. Our parish relationships continue to grow and blossom.

Traffic News
Many of you may have witnessed me standing in the middle of the circle of the new 'round-about' on Banderas in front of the PEB this morning. I was doing my best to help guide you around the circle! I apologize for not being able to provide you with advance notice of this new 'round-about' which was constructed this week. Although the City of RSM previously mentioned that they were considering installing the round-about, they did not let me know it was happening this week so I, as well as our parents and staff members, were caught off-guard on Tuesday when the trucks showed up to start the project.

The city assures us this was put in place In order to help keep both the neighborhood and our families safe. I ask you to please follow the signs regarding the flow of traffic, which is to 'go right' as you exit from in front of the PEB and proceed 'around' the circle.

Thank you so much.
God is Good...All the Time.

Christ's Blessings,

Angeline Trudell
President

Engineering FUNdamentals using LEGOs

Kids are already naturally gifted creators. Then they get added
inspiration from our specially trained instructors. They dive into our
massive collections of LEGO®. And while they build elaborate objects,
structures and vehicles, they explore fundamental principles of engineering
and physics. They also learn to collaborate and create without
fear of mistakes. The experience is joyful, the impact long-lasting.
