 Message From Our President
Hope has been our theme virtue throughout this school year. With God, we have Hope for everything and any challenges we may have, are made easier. Let's continue to smile through it all  and DANCE IN THE RAIN which I think will then bring the sunshine.

When we have God, we have HOPE and know we are blessed.
Graduation Cap
Congratulations and Siempre Adelante!
Please join me in congratulating and wishing our 8th-grade students, who will be graduating next week, the very best as they move on to high school. We are so proud of their many accomplishments and know they will be great representatives of St. Junipero Serra Catholic School. May God continue to bless and watch over them as their spiritual and educational journey continues with many new and exciting opportunities that await them.

We also congratulate our Kindergarten students who will celebrate their graduation ceremony next week as well. We know they will be back to join us for many happy and faith-filled years at St. Serra.

Your prayers for our 8th Grade and Kindergarten students are most sincerely appreciated.

Preparing iPads for End of Year Collection

If you have purchased your student's iPad, additional information will be forwarded to you directly on how to prepare for its removal from our management software and when to expect delivery of the iPad.
Collection Schedule
The days listed below will be the one and only opportunity that we will be collecting the iPad and accessories from the students at the specified grade levels. If your student will not be in school on the date listed, please contact Jana Chantarapan at to schedule a time when the iPad and accessories can be returned. Families who do not return the iPad on the date listed or schedule an alternate collection time, will be billed for the cost of each iPad ($213).
  • Monday, June 5 - Grades Three and Four
  • Wednesday, June 7 - TK and Kindergarten
  • Thursday, June 8 - Grades One, Two, Five, and Six
  • Friday, June 9 - Seventh Grade
Backing up the iPad
Student iPads will be wiped before they are turned in, so it is important to ensure the iPad has been backed-up to iCloud, Google Drive archived (if not returning), and files transferred if desired before their collection date. Students will not have the opportunity to retrieve data from an iPad after it is wiped if they have not backed up their device.
  • CLICK HERE for how to manually back-up to iCloud if necessary
  • Students who are graduating or not returning to St. Junipero Serra Catholic School can archive their files and documents in their Google Drive by utilizing Google Takeout. CLICK HERE if you wish to review these instructions. This is only necessary if you are not returning to the school next year.
  • Beginning May 19, we will remove the restriction from the student iPads prohibiting iPads from connecting to a home computer. With the removal of this restriction, students and their parents may now synchronize the iPad to iTunes on a home computer, or transfer documents from the iPad to a home computer.
Students will be responsible for returning the following items:
  • iPad with the school-issued case
  • Protective shield

  • School-issued charging block*
  • School-issued cable*

*Apple products MJ262LL/A (power adapter) and MD818AM/A (lightning to USB cable) are acceptable, even if not original school-issued equipment
If an item is not returned when the iPad is collected, or the incorrect item is returned, an invoice will be sent home to the parents through our Business Office. We will also be evaluating the condition of the iPads when they are returned. Families will be responsible for the repair of any iPad which has a cracked screen or is not in a condition to be returned to the leasing company without penalty.
Please email  if you have any questions.
