Call Returned
The Rev. Wade M. Seaver, Hope, Bellaire, MI (Michigan District), has returned the call to serve Hope, Fremont, CA.
Prayer Requests
Your prayer concerns are important to the English District. When you submit a prayer request, with your permission, it will be posted in this weekly eNewsletter. The Bible's promise is true: "If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us" (1 John 5:14).

Please keep the community of North York, ON, the Greater Toronto Area, and Iranian-Canadians in your prayers. The tragic loss of life onboard Flight PS752 from Tehran to Kyiv has greatly impacted these communities. Many local school students, returning from holiday trips, are among the deceased. We pray that God would comfort this community as it mourns, with the sure and certain hope of the resurrection.

Please pray for Chuck Novak, for healing and strength.

Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico following the earthquakes and for those supporting them as they rebuild.

Email  Holly Scheer  with your prayer requests.
The IRS considers member congregations, the schools they operate, as well as most other organizations affiliated with The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, as tax-exempt entities because they are organizations described in the Synod’s group tax-exemption ruling under code section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). A copy can be found in the  Congregational Treasurer’s Manual .

Worker Wellness

This week's LCMS devotion focuses on Physical Wellness . These weekly devotions are meant to encourage church workers and help them to explore ways to find wellness in their own lives as well as their families' lives.

These devotions are an excellent way to prayerfully practice self-care throughout the week.

In Our Churches
Hope Lutheran Church, Kitchener, ON
Members of Hope Lutheran Church, Kitchener, ON gathered after Divine Service to understand how to interpret the results of their Re:Vitality Congregational Self-Assessment. This tool of LCMS Re:Vitality is intended to provide a snap shot of a congregation's assessment of their vitality. The goal is to assist God's people in moving forward in the opportunities of mission and ministry God has opened to them with intentionality. The process was well received. We pray this tool will be a blessing to all in the congregation and also to the community in which God has placed them.
