1-1-1 for Missions
Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Windsor, Ontario has been an active participant in 1-1-1. 
Rev. Voelker displays their 1-1-1 receptacle, into which hundreds of dollars have been placed for the English District Missions.
Pastor Voelker tells his members, “We trust God to encourage us and to be with us always. We want to come together with others who want the same. We want a relationship with God. We remind people of it each week, so that we learn that all gifts count which are given in faith.”

HCL athletics had a big weekend! At the National Cross Country Meet, they had two middle school boys, Logan J. and Gavin M., finish nationally in the top 25 for their division, with Gavin M. finishing as a 2nd-Team All-American! Well done, boys! While the boys were running at nationals, the 7th/8th “A” girls volleyball team was competing in the Wisconsin State Volleyball Tournament. The girls became just the third team in HCL volleyball program history to reach the state volleyball final four, and they finished higher than any other girls volleyball team in school history, winning the 3rd place match! Well done, girls! To God be all praise and glory. They play for Him!
