In Our Churches
Calvary Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg, PA

Those who have a regular income and who are able to provide for their families often don't think of those less fortunate and the difficulties they have.

The Military Share program at Calvary, Mechanicsburg, PA holds a regular food distribution for those less fortunate. On October 16th, the program provided food for 37 families totaling 93 people. With the help of a Thrivent action team grant, the program was able to provide things that families can't get with food stamps including toilet paper, napkins, and paper towels. Such simple things and yet so appreciated.
