Grace, Redford, MI
During a recent morning worship, Seminarian Aaron Halboth (Concordia, St. Louis) delivered his first sermon. He is shown here with his father Rev. Timothy Halboth. Aaron is the fourth generation of Halboths to preach at Grace Lutheran Church. Upon his ordination, he will be a sixth-generation pastor in his family.

Also at Grace Lutheran Church, the congregation recently hosted the Redford Civic Symphony's Annual Spring concert. The concert has been a community tradition for twelve years and was well attended.

Prince of Peace, Mesquite, NV
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church held a joyful Blessing of Sacred Art for four stained-glass windows donated to the church. The windows were initially part of a set of six in a Long Beach, CA church and withstood the 1923 earthquake. They were later replaced, and an antique dealer discovered the set of six windows in a barn. Prince of Peace member Kay B. purchased and donated them to the church.

Peace, Palm Desert, CA
Peace Lutheran Church of the Desert hosted youth from our sister churches, Promise Lutheran Church, Murrieta, and Trinity Lutheran Church, Indio. All three churches will be represented at the National Youth Gathering held in New Orleans this July. During the worship service, the youth led singing, scripture reading, and greeted attendees before serving food at the luncheon. These enthusiastic young leaders were a true blessing to the congregation. To God be the Glory! ✝️
