The Rev. Dr. Jamison J. Hardy, Bishop/President of the English District LCMS, has accepted the Divine Call to serve as President of Concordia University System, St. Louis, MO.

Assistant to the Bishop Visit

Rev. J. Derek Mathers, Assistant to the Bishop and Mission Executive, visited with God’s people at St. John the Divine, Chicago, IL and participated in a conversation about the future. In addition to the wonderful fellowship, Pastor Mathers was honored to be present for the Rite of Confirmation of St. John's member Emily. Blessings to Emily and the St. John's community!

Marian Faye Brockhoff, 88, of Florence, KY, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024. Marian is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Robert A. Brockhoff; and is survived by her children, Jonathan (Gina), Timothy, and Elizabeth (David) England, and five grandchildren.



Please keep the Brockhoff family in your prayers.

Grace Lutheran Church welcomed its community in hosting the Annual Spring Concert of the Redford Civic Symphony. This is the 9th year that Grace has participated in this community event. Following the concert, Grace’s Women’s Ministries hosted a reception.

Peace, Palm Desert, CA

On Holy Trinity Sunday, Peace Lutheran Church of the Desert recognized those who were willing to sacrifice their lives for the freedoms we enjoy. Pastor Bowes explained to the congregation the meaning behind the objects on the MIA/POW table that was displayed.
