We read in Ecclesiastes 3:1, 3, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven…a time to tear down and a time to build.”
As vacations end and work or school begins, it's time to get back to reality. LCMS often marks this with a fall Rally Day. Mission 1-1-1 wants to be included in your church's Rally Day plans. In preparation, please consider this short list:
- Is the Mission 1-1-1 box placed in a high-traffic area?
- Does the box have the updated Mission 1-1-1 circular logo?

Have you included new Mission 1-1-1 materials or Scripture in your worship or newsletter?
- Is there a designated Mission 1-1-1 owner?
The Mission Action Team prays that these preparations are underway or planned to strengthen Mission 1-1-1.
| | Save the Date: The Michigan March for Life will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the State Capitol in Lansing. The Pre-Rally Concert begins at 10 AM, the Rally at 11 AM (featured speaker is Planned Parenthood whistle-blower Mayra Rodriguez), and the March at noon. Following the March, Lutherans For Life will be meeting for a follow-up rally at Hope Lutheran Church in DeWitt. | | |

Luther Classical College is partnering with the On The Line podcast to produce a debate series addressing some of the most pressing topics in Christendom today. The first debate will focus on Christian Nationalism, featuring Rev. Dr. Joel Biermann and Rev. David Ramirez.
The debate will premiere on August 25 at 7:00 p.m. ET on the On The Line YouTube channel.
| | Christ Academy Confirmation Retreat - CTSFW | | | |
Join us this fall for the semi-annual Christ Academy Confirmation Retreat on the campus of Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW). Christ Academy’s tradition rests on three pillars: confessional catechesis, liturgical worship, and joyful life together.
This fall’s topic is the Apostles’ Creed—a central confession of the Christian faith that proclaims the Triune God and His saving work. The keynote speaker for the retreat will be the Rev. Dr. Todd Peperkorn.
