Mission 1-1-1

We read in Ephesians 4:4-5, "There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism..." We begin with the “end goal" in mind in two ways:

First, as we reach the end of August, it is time to conclude the 2025-2026 Mission 1-1-1 campaign.

Please collect, compile, and send all of your most recent contributions to the District office by August 31. You may pay online to ensure timely receipt.

Second, let us be mindful of the true end goal — unity in the body of all believers with Christ as our Head, in and as the Word and Sacrament. This remains the thrust behind Mission 1-1-1.

We begin anew in early September for our 2026-2027 Mission 1-1-1 campaign. We look forward to communicating with you throughout this new campaign year, and pray that each member prayerfully commits to $1 a week during this time frame. More will follow in Servant to Servant and the English District website as we progress through the next campaign year.

As Hebrews 12:2 says, “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.”

In Our Churches

Grace, Wyoming, MI

Members of Grace Lutheran Church celebrated Pastor Zachary Marklevitz and Jenny’s 13th wedding anniversary with a “house divided” theme featuring Lions and Packers cakes. We join in praying for God's continued blessings upon their marriage.

Prince of Peace, Mesquite, NV

Pastor Bob Bruggeman and members of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church recently held their 2026 Vacation Bible School. All five of the VBS students had participated in the 2025 VBS. They enjoyed the theme “Jesus Comes to Seek and Save” in the skits, Bible exploration, crafts, games, and songs. We pray for God's continued blessings and guidance upon the VBS participants and those who coordinate the work involved in making a successful VBS happen.
