The Rev. M. Todd Zill has received a Divine Call to serve as Sole Pastor of Shepherd of the Pines, Payson, AZ.
The Rev. M. Todd Zill has also received a Divine Call to serve as Sole Pastor of Saint Andrew, Albuquerque, NM (Rocky Mountain District).

The fiscal year for Mission 1-1-1 comes to a close at the end of this week. The results for the 2024-2025 period have been amazing. Through congregational giving over the past 12 months, more than $24,000 has been collected. This means that the two selected missions will each receive over $12,000 to further their Kingdom work for the gospel! That is great news for the recipients, and we praise God for the generous giving that we have witnessed.
Beginning this Sunday, we have a new opportunity to be challenged with our own potential. Please consider the following:
- In broad strokes, there are 155 congregations in the English District, with each having an average weekly attendance of 60.
- If we do the math, 155 churches x 60 members x $1 x 52 weeks = $483,600!
- Just think about what greater impact we can have on missions next year. It is something for us all to ponder!
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58
| | Save the Date: The Michigan March for Life will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the State Capitol in Lansing. The Pre-Rally Concert begins at 10 AM, the Rally at 11 AM (featured speaker is Planned Parenthood whistle-blower Mayra Rodriguez), and the March at noon. Following the March, Lutherans For Life will be meeting for a follow-up rally at Hope Lutheran Church in DeWitt. | | |

We pray for the Naumann family who mourns the passing of Rev. Dr. Jonathan Naumann's mother, Mrs. Shirley Naumann.

Members of West Portal Lutheran Church joined Pastor Curtis Binz in welcoming Bobbi Lucille, Pastor Binz's granddaughter, through the waters of baptism.

Prince of Peace, Mesquite, NV
The congregation of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church hosted a Welcome Back Breakfast for the teachers and staff of the Mesquite Elementary School. In addition to a delicious breakfast, members provided classroom supplies for the teachers. This is the event's second year, and it was warmly and gratefully received. Members embraced the school professionals with the love of Christ in the food, drinks, and classroom supplies.
