Set Apart To Serve

Parents, ordained and commissioned church workers and all members of the congregation are important influences in leading youth toward full-time church work. Set Apart to Serve (SAS) is built to provide every influential adult with tools to talk to youth about church work, encourage their interest in church work, and provide them with opportunities to experience the rewards of church work. These resources help to increase fruitful engagement between the congregation’s youth and their influential adults, as the youth go along their individual journeys toward full-time church work vocations.

Remember, all of us are called to be Christ’s disciples and to continue His work. Look over the Set Apart to Serve Frequently Asked Questions and check out the free resources available to help you raise up the next generation of church workers.

In Our Churches

Eternal Life, Mesa, AZ

Eternal Life Lutheran Church was blessed to witness the baptism of Natalya. The congregation gifted Natalya’s parents with baskets filled with a variety of baby supplies, clothes, and other gifts. We join Eternal Life in welcoming Natalya to the family of Christ and pray for continued blessing upon her parents.

"God's own child, I gladly say it: I am baptized into Christ!" (LSB 594).

Prince of Peace, Menomonee Falls, WI

The Lutheran Church of the Prince of Peace welcomed Abigail Grosnick as their organist and choir director. The congregation celebrated this joyous event with coffee and cake after the service. We pray that God will richly bless Abigail as she is a blessing to her congregation.
