The Rev. Jeffrey S. Teeple has accepted the Divine Call to serve as Missionary Pastor for the Office of International Mission, Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, St. Louis, MO (Missouri District).
Deaconess Gina K. Teeple has accepted the Divine Call to serve as the Project Manager-Communications for the Office of International Mission, Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (Missouri District).
The Rev. Benjamin N. Janssen has accepted the Divine Call to serve as Senior Pastor of First Trinity, Pittsburgh, PA.

| | 1-1-1 Dollar for Missions | | | |
We read in James 1:17, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”
We can give only what we have first been given, making giving a matter of grace. Giving is also a matter of choice. To give $1 weekly to the Mission 1-1-1 box, we must choose to get cash. We must choose to ensure that we have a single dollar from what cash we might normally carry. We must be intentional about remembering to bring that dollar and place it in the Mission 1-1-1 box every Sunday, beginning this Sunday. Please pray about, and prepare for, the 2025-2026 Mission 1-1-1.

Redeemer, Oakmont, PA
Pastor Adam Koontz and Outreach Committee members from Redeemer Lutheran Church and Redeemer Lutheran School took part in the Annual Oakmont Summer Street Sale. Volunteers handed out coloring books and crayons provided by Redeemer Lutheran School and spoke to many families who had small children. The Outreach Committee also provided free Bibles and other reading materials, and had cold water available which was appreciated in the 85+ degree weather.

Redeemer, Verona, PA
Redeemer Lutheran School began the new school year with its annual faculty/staff induction service. The festivities moved to the high school campus for the groundbreaking of the new gymnasium followed by the back-to-school picnic at the Idaho campus for students and families. Even the unexpected heavy rain couldn't dampen the joy! A day of blessings, celebrations, and thanksgiving to the Lord for His providence. On the first day of school, high school students reported to their campus in the morning before joining K-8th graders for the tradition of worshiping together outdoors for devotions. Middle and high school students then participated in the school's annual team-building retreat. Students and faculty enjoyed three days together spending time in the Word and out in His creation with a wide variety of activities to kick off the new school year. Preschool-5th grade students enjoyed a busy first day as well, learning the routines in their classrooms and greeting friends and teachers both old and new.

The campus ministry at the University of Arizona hosted a welcome back meal and Evening Prayer Service on the Commemoration of Augustine of Hippo to kickstart the new school year. Pastors M. Todd Zill and Isaac Wirtz led the service for the nearly 20 individuals in attendance, including new and returning students, young adults, and members of the Arizona Lutheran Campus Mission Society. Four students who completed a College Catechesis course during the previous year and summer received copies of The Lutheran Study Bible, as did new students, including a PhD student from China.
