Jesus calls us to be active disciples, not passive spectators. Jesus has redeemed us so we can participate in his redemptive work. The church/congregation belongs to him – and is not to be bound by our limited preferences. Returning to the theme of SoulShaping: God makes, we shape. We are to engage intentionally in several “building projects,” which Paul frames in terms of God’s Temple. We are building a life that counts, a fellowship that cares, and a mission that continues Christ’s transforming work in the world.

OCRM Serve Day

Retirement Celebration for Pastor Doug Sunday, Jun 5
DO NOT MISS this special day as we celebrate Doug’s 44 years in ministry! It will be his last message from the pulpit plus a special commissioning. Between services we’ll have tasty treats, photo ops, opportunity to write notes, and more. A catered lunch with musical selections from The Fabulous Edsels will take place @12PM, followed by a farewell presentation and tribute @1PM. Register online for lunch.
