Library Services Update

The Library may be closed, but your access is still open! Your Librarians are hard at work curating new content and planning virtual programs to sate your intellectual curiosity.

Keep reading for info on this week's newly curated content and updates to existing services. Have questions about these or other services, need a library card, or just need to connect? Don't hesitate to reach out!

Remember that overdue fines will continue to be waived until further notice and that our 3 book drops are open for returns. Library kits should be returned by calling the library at 424-5021 (ext 101  or 102) between 10:00am and 7:00pm Monday through Thursday and 10:00am to 5:00pm on Fridays to speak with a staff member.
Curbside Pickup by Appointment

The Library is pleased to continue curbside pickup to Merrimack cardholders! Simply place holds on Merrimack items through the  Library catalog , and our staff will call you to schedule a time to pick up your items in the Library parking lot.

Please note that our curbside service is by appointment only and will be available at the following times:
  • Mon-Thur 12:00pm to 6:30pm
  • Fridays 12:00pm to 4:30pm
  • Saturdays 10am to 12pm

The Library's Community Book Club is open to all! Join our reference librarians and your fellow residents on the last Wednesday of each month for a lively discussion.
Resource of the Week

Kanopy's Social and Systemic Injustice Films

A new social and systemic injustice category has been created on Kanopy in response to the many recent protests advocating for an end to racial inequality and police brutality in American communities.

With many having questions about the images and conversations being shared, these films aim to increase knowledge and mitigate misinformation on these topic.
Resident Fast Facts

The Merrimack Town election will be held this Tuesday, June 23rd. Polls will be open 7:00am to 7:00pm. A sample ballot can be found HERE (link opens PDF).

Merrimack Village District Water Works has implemented a ban on all outside water use due to low water levels. More information on current water restrictions can be found on the MVD website HERE .

The Bedford Road Bridge Project was completed this past Wednesday, June 17th, by the Department of Public Works.
