Library Services Update

The Library may be closed, but your access is still open! Your Librarians are hard at work curating new content and planning virtual programs to sate your intellectual curiosity.

Keep reading for info on this week's newly curated content and updates to existing services. Have questions about these or other services, need a library card, or just need to connect? Don't hesitate to reach out!

Remember that overdue fines will continue to be waived until further notice and that our 3 book drops are open for returns. Library kits should be returned by calling the library at 603-424-5021 (ext 101  or 102) during our operating hours .
Outdoor Seating Now Available

The Library is thrilled to offer covered outdoor seating! Feel free to stop by with your laptop, a good book, or just yourself and enjoy the bustle of downtown.

Remember that the Library has laptops available for use on the property and remote printing available via Princh! Our public access Wi-Fi is on 24/7 while the Library is closed to the public.

Social facilitator, public speaker, activist, and advice columnist Jas LaFond will speak over Zoom this Tuesday. Jas has worked in mental health and human services for over ten years and will speak about the stigmas and stereotypes of what it means to be Brown and Queer in today's society.
Curbside Pick-Up Update

Monday's curbside pick-up hours will start at 1:00pm beginning this Monday, August 3rd. Curbside hours for Tuesday through Saturday will remain the same.

Curbside hours moving forward will be as follows:

  • Mon 1:00pm to 6:30pm
  • Tue-Thu 12:00pm to 6:30pm
  • Fri 12:00pm to 4:30pm
  • Sat 10:00am to 12:30pm

The Town of Merrimack will be conducting an informational public meeting on the replacement of the DW Highway bridge over Baboosic Brook this Tuesday, August 4th, at 7:00pm.

The Merrimack Parks and Rec Concert in the Park series continues!  Vintage Party will perform classic rock party music this Wednesday, August 5th, at 6:00pm in Abbie Griffin Park.

NHPR launched the new environmental reporting project, By Degrees , this month. By Degrees takes a deeper look at climate change in our state and the region, as well as its impact on area policies, industries, communities, and individuals.
