Looking Back

Riverside Library's current building at 475 Bullocks Point Avenue opened in the Fall of 2005. Plans for a standalone building date back as far as the 1970s when the library planning to move out of its location on the corner of Lincoln and Monroe Avenues but it moved into the old Riverside Junior High School at 100 Bullocks Point Avenue instead. Demolishing a water tower in 1998 cleared the way for the building of the new Riverside Branch Library.
