Sing Along to the Messiah at Bon Air | Bon Air Church will hold its longtime annual Messiah Community Sing-Along on December 10. The concert will be conducted by Naima Burrs, director of the Petersburg Symphony, and will feature 18 professional instrumentalists and soloists. Messiah lovers throughout the community are invited to attend. Scores will be available for the audience to join the chorus. | |
Celebrate Christmas at Massanetta | Massanetta's annual holiday feast is December 9. Enjoy the sounds of the Massanutten Brass Quintet playing a variety of Christmas music and sing along to your favorite carols. Overnight lodging is available. Registration closes December 4. | |
Camp Hanover and VCU Campus Ministry Partner on Events | The Pace Center for Campus Ministry at VCU is grateful for assistance from Camp Hanover twice in recent weeks. One Friday, Camp’s MVPs (mission, vocation, and practice interns) attended the Pace Center’s Walk-A-Dog program, a social event to encourage students to get outside and meet others. Camp staff also provided lunch for one of the center’s Wednesday gatherings. | | |
