Second Quarter 2025 Highlights
- Diluted earnings per share of $1.12 for the quarter. Adjusted diluted earnings per share of $1.21, up 27% from the second quarter of 2024.
- Net interest margin improved to 3.10% in the second quarter from 2.92% in the first quarter. Adjusted net interest margin was 3.06% in the second quarter.
- Loans grew by $346 million, or 11% annualized, during the quarter.
- Book value per share of $31.52, up 14% from the second quarter of 2024 and 16% annualized, from the first quarter of 2025.
- Liquidity remains strong with $1.7 billion in cash and cash equivalent assets, 10% of our total assets, and no FHLB advances or brokered deposits.
- Consolidated common equity tier 1 capital to risk-weighted assets increased from 10.93% to 11.38% year-over-year.
- 2Q2025 Return on average common stockholder’s equity of 14.56%. Adjusted 2Q2025 return on average common stockholders’ equity increased from 14.08% to 15.63% year-over-year.

“We are thrilled to promote Jeff Austin to Market President,” states Rick Manley, Regional CEO of ServisFirst Bank Charlotte. “Jeff has been instrumental in driving our strong growth in a short period of time, and his deep ties to the Asheville community make him a natural fit for this leadership role.

A seasoned banking professional with over 26 years of experience, Jeff Austin has been promoted to Market President of ServisFirst Bank Asheville. In his new role, Austin will lead the Bank’s Asheville market strategy and oversee commercial client growth, portfolio management, and team development. Prior to this promotion, Austin served as Senior Commercial Loan Officer and Vice President, where he focused on developing new business relationships and delivering banking solutions across commercial lending, deposits, treasury management, and consumer banking. He is known for his collaborative leadership style, strategic thinking, and ability to manage complex client needs. A native of Asheville, Austin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Law from Western Carolina University. He remains deeply engaged in the Western North Carolina community, currently serving as a board member and treasurer for the Black Mountain Tennis Association, treasurer and secretary for the Buckeye Community Center, and as a board member of Partner Community Capital, where he serves on both the Executive and Finance Committees.
