Dance Recital 2026:
"MSCD: Legendary" is Saturday, May 16th & Sunday, May 17th @ Marshfield High School.
Have you checked the list to see which show(s) your dancer will perform in? There is a copy on the wall in the hallway across from the bulletin board, or access it here:
Pictures of the costumes are located on the main bulletin board. The picture for each class also includes any other needs (tights, hair requirements, etc.) Please be sure to check the board for those details.
Tickets to our annual Dance Recital are sold lottery style. The week of March 23rd, your dancer will receive a "Dance Recital Packet" in class, which will include a Ticket Request Form. This form should be filled out and returned to the office, with ticket payment, by Monday, April 13th. (Tickets are $10 each)
Each family is allowed up to six tickets for their priority show. We then draw ticket requests from a box and fill seats front to back. Families that fail to return their "Ticket Request Form" on time cannot be guaranteed their full ticket request. Please return your form by April 13th. Tickets can be picked up beginning Monday, April 27th.
We encourage our students to practice their recital dance(s) at home. Once your child's class has finished learning their recital dance, you are welcome to video the dance for use with home practice. The instructor will let you know when the class is ready for filming.
We rely on volunteer dance parents to help keep our backstage area safe and organized during recital weekend. (It takes around 200 volunteers for the weekend.) Please consider helping us during one show that weekend. It's a great way to meet other dance parents & be more involved in something your dancer loves! Sign up forms will be in your "Recital Information Packet"
