Our fourth week on Capitol Hill brought the first of many bills to the Senate floor for consideration. Our colleagues in the House also successfully passed their recommendations for the Amended Fiscal Year 2019 budget. It is important to note, that the Senate will review the House recommendations. If the Senate agrees, the bill will then be passed and sent to Governor Kemp.
Last week, committee meeting schedules increased as we diligently worked to review and discuss each bill brought forth for consideration.
