Monday, January 14, was exciting, as legislators from across the state made their way to the Capitol to mark the beginning of the 155th meeting of the Georgia General Assembly.
Since Georgia is on a two year election cycle, all members of the General Assembly were sworn into their respective offices. That obligation includes our slate of newly elected Constitutional statewide office holders, who are elected on a four year cycle.
It is truly humbling to take the oath of office, in realizing the magnitude of what we are tasked to do as your representatives. Thank you for allowing me to serve you. It is an honor to represent our area of the state. I will continue to update you throughout the legislative session and please, if you need anything at all, let me know. I am here for you!
