We have only two days left in this year's legislative session. Days 39 and 40 will be marathons and I expect us to take up significant amounts of legislation on these two final days. We will adjourn on March 24th "Sine Die" or without a day meaning that anything not passed out of both houses will no longer be available for consideration.  

I was honored to have been asked to carry House Bill 831. House Bill 831, which passed last week, ensures that members of the National Guard will be able to keep their jobs when they return home from deployment.
