Monday, January 13, members of the Georgia General Assembly started the 2020 legislative session. Over the next few months, we will discuss healthcare, education, public safety and many more topics during the session. The first week of session brought about our first floor vote as well as Governor Kemp's second State of the State Address.
This week, ended "Budget Week." The Constitutional Officers of the state along with department heads presented before the 2020 Senate & House Joint Budget Committee. Throughout the legislative session, I will send updates communicating with you what is going on under the Gold Dome.
