GHNO High School Homecoming Dance
Saturday, October 3rd - GHNO Courtyard
Event Expectations
- The dance will run from 7:00 PM-10 PM.
- Admission to the dance closes at 8:00 PM-no exceptions
- Students must adhere to the dress code to be admitted to the dance.
- Student comportment during the dance must be in accordance with usual school expectations.
- Students remain in the Dance space throughout the dance.
- Only current GHNO students in grades 9-12 may attend.

Cell phones are turned off and put away during the dance. (Students are encouraged to bring digital cameras, and there will be a photo booth with photographers.)

There are specific, semi-formal dress requirements for special events, including high school dances, found in our handbook. The guidelines can be found here along with a GHNO shopping guide.
Shoe guidelines (for the Homecoming dance only):
Students may wear shoes appropriate to dancing on the concrete and turf. This includes dress shoes, loafers, canvas sneakers, dressy leather sneakers, and nice sandals. Shoes should be clean and match your outfit. Shoes NOT approved for Homecoming include: flip-flops, slippers, clogs, water shoes, Crocs, and no bare feet.
*A student out of dress code will be asked to change at home and return.
