The IRM is the leading professional body for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). We drive excellence in managing risk to ensure organisations are ready for the opportunities and threats of the future. We do this by providing internationally recognised qualifications and training, publishing research and guidance, and setting professional standards. We also have a range of regional and special interest groups including our Financial Services group which enable networking and sharing of best practice with peers from similar areas or industries.
Ensure you are up-to-date on the international risk management standards and best practice required to effectively mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities to save your organisation time and money.
Our globally recognised International Certificates in Enterprise Risk Management and Financial Services Risk Management can help develop your skills and progress your career. The Financial Services certificate in particular has been updated in response to international regulatory developments such as Basel III and Solvency II which require that companies and their staff have a broader understanding of risk management.
Our newest qualification is the Digital Risk Management Certificate, developed with support from WMG Cyber Security Centre at the University of Warwick and the Universitys Department of Politics and International Studies. This qualification is open to all. It provides an introduction to the concepts of digital risk management and explains how new technologies and digitalisation are disrupting businesses and therefore changing the risk environment for organisations of all types and posing new ethical challenges.
