Virtual Interview with Amanda Jones

Amanda Jones is a middle-school librarian and author of That Librarian: The Fight Against Book Banning in America.


Amanda will be joining us via Zoom to discuss her book, the importance of the library profession, and book joy, all in a national climate of assaults on the freedom to read.


This event will be held virtually via Zoom.

This event is part of the Yarmouth Town Libraries Board's Freedom to Read series, and is funded by the South Yarmouth Library Association in partnership with libraries across Massachusetts.

Join us for demonstrations and short practices of this gentle, soft moving meditation form in this 5 week series. There are 19 movements and one pose.

Classes will be held Thursdays from March 13 to April 10


Registration is required each week.

LITTER CLEAN-UP

with Keep Barnstable Beautiful (KBB)

SATURDAY. MARCH 15 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.


KBB will provide trash bags, gloves, pickers and safety vests. Bring yourself and a friend too! This clean-up will focus on the areas of Hyannis and Centerville.


Dress accordingly for the weather—no rain date, but KBB will email & post on their social media if the event is cancelled due to inclement weather.


The first twenty people to register will receive a FREE KBB T-Shirt or KBB car trash bag!
